Tom Fox - (President)
Tom and his wife Sherry are family forest landowners that owns, resides on and manages 144 acres of forestland near Ethel Washington in Lewis County. Tom graduated from Lane Community College in Eugene Oregon with an Associate of Science degree in forestry in 1973.Tom and his family received the 2004 Washington State Outstanding Tree Farmer award. Tom has for the last 29 years been president of Tree Management Plus which is forestry consulting and contracting business based in Lewis County Washington. TMP works almost exclusively for family forest landowners in the management of their family forest resources. In 2004 TMP received the Washington State Outstanding Logger award and also receive the Western Regional Outstanding Logger award. In 2004 after spending over 6 years negotiating with USFW and NOAA Tom was successful in receiving an a 80 year multi-species HCP for his own family forestland. Tom serves on the Board of Directors of the Cispus Natural Resource Youth Camp, and is a Class 19 graduate of the Washington Agriculture and Forestry Leadership Program. Professional affiliations include the Washington Farm Forestry Association, Washington Contract Loggers Association, and the Society of American Foresters.

Steve Webster - (Vice-President)
Steve is a small forest landowner in Lewis County and has been involved with forestry for the past 37 years. Prior to his recent retirement, Steve worked as a Forestry Extension Agent for WSU Cooperative Extension. The focus of his work had been to assist and inspire family forest landowners to learn about and practice sustainable forestry. Prior to this, Steve worked as a forestry research scientist, specializing in tree nutrition and soil management. Steve has a PhD in Forest Soils from North Carolina State University. He and his wife own and manage 120 acres of young Douglas-fir. Eighty of these acres have been in the family for four generations. Additionally, Steve is the managing general partner for the Webster Tree Farm, LP, which owns timber assets on 240 acres in Lewis County. He is an active and long-time member of the Washington Farm Forestry Association and the Society of American Foresters. Proud accomplishments include having been selected as Forester of the Year by the Washington State Society of American Foresters in 1993 and having been honored with recognition as a Fellow in the Society of American Foresters. Steve is also pleased with having been selected as the Centralia College 2005 Distinguished Alumnus.

William P. Scheer, Jr. - (Treasurer)
Bill has been active in the forest industry for the past ten years. Graduating in 1995 with a bachelor's degree in Economics from Willamette University, he immediately began managing his family's tree farm in Chehalis, WA. Active in the local community, Bill has served as both Secretary and President of the Lewis County Farm Forestry Association and is an active member of the Centralia Rotary Club. Bill also serves on the Washington Farm Forestry Board as their Treasurer. He is a Class XXII graduate of the 2-year Washington Agriculture and Forestry Education Foundation program, which trains those in the natural resource industry to become leaders in their field of expertise, as well their communities. Bill lives on his family's tree farm in Chehalis with his wife Tiffany and sons Jack and Andy.

Steve Stinson - (Executive Director)
As the Executive Director, Steve's responsibilities include leading the development of the Family Forest Habitat Conservation Plan, researching forest product marketing opportunities and outreach efforts focused on broadening the public's perception of family forest issues. He previously served 3 years as the administrator of the Small Forest Landowner Office in the Washington State Department of Natural Resources. He is a partner in the Cowlitz Ridge Tree Farm, a sustainably managed family forest enterprise in Lewis County Washington. Steve graduated from the University Of Washington College Of Forest Resources with a Master's degree in Silviculture and did his undergraduate work at The Evergreen State College. Prior to his academic pursuits, Steve spent 12 years working in the timber industry, primarily as a timber faller. Steve is a member of the Washington Farm Forestry Association, the Society of American Foresters, and serves on the boards of the Rural Technology Initiative, the Northwest Woodland Owners Council and the Gifford Pinchot Collaborative Working Group. He is a member of Class 27 in the 2-year Washington Agriculture and Forestry Education Foundation program.

Bill Scheer - (Board Member)
Bill is a small forest landowner in Lewis County. He and his son manage a 450-acre family farm as well as other forest land properties. Bill holds a Master's degree in Natural Sciences from Pacific Lutheran University and a Bachelor's degree in Horticulture from the Institute for Agriculture in the Netherlands. He is an Emeritus faculty member of Washington State University in Horticultural Research and Extension. His experience in crop production is extensive and he has worked as a consultant in Central and South America, Asia and Europe. Professional affiliations include the Society of American Foresters, the Washington Farm Forestry Association, and the Western Washington Horticultural Association.
